Job Description
Pro T&L is one of the fastest growing and innovative transport company in the Southeast region.

We are currently seeking highly motivated licensed Truck Drivers to join an expanding team in Florida and Georgia.

Truck Drivers will manage contract loads, leads for private and governmental sectors.

The role will provide with a quality of work/life balance, career path, create relationships with clients, and train junior drivers for success.

We are looking for licensed Truck Drivers who will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods and other articles of trade to our customers.

Drivers will be tasked with driving and maintaining trucks that will be assigned to each driver, as well as working closely with our team dispatchers in order to plan routes and track deliveries.

Seeking Single Drivers or 2-person teams.
Class A CDL or commercial driver license is required.
Successful candidates must have a clean driving record and must pass a drug and alcohol test.

SCOPE OF ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Distance driving to deliver goods to customers.
Record cargo deliveries.
Refuel and clean vehicle.
Report road incidents to the dispatcher.
Follow traffic laws.
Inspect trucks and record issues.
Maintain fleet of trucks from 2016 to 2020.
Keep an activity log and log hours.
Report mechanical problems to maintenance personnel.
Plan routes using GPS system.
Get goods to the client on time.
Maintain a positive attitude with customers.
Keep commercial driver license up to date.

TRUCK DRIVER REQUIREMENTS:
Class A CDL or commercial driver license.
Current TWIC card.
Must pass drug and alcohol test.
Must have clean driving record.
Must provide current MVR, if available.
Must provide a medical certificate.
Maturity needed to work with complex issues as they arise.
High school diploma.

EXPERIENCED REQUIRED:
2 or more years minimum working in a private industry or governmental.
Reefer (53-ft) experience preferred.
3,000 miles a week, competitive milage pay ($.45 to $.50 per mile based on experience).
Steady routes from FL to NC, TN (Produce Routes).
Steady Routes available drop/hook from Fort Lauderdale to Black Mountain, NC and back to FL.
